Planning

Surveying
Shaca Steel utilise a combination of state-of-the-art 3D point cloud scanning technology, and traditional EDM equipment to accurately measure and model existing structures incorporating site control. This enables us to provide high quality drawing packages for coordination, as well as identifying potential issues well in advance of reaching site.
Connection Design
Most projects now require steelwork contractors to produce connection design and calculations. Our experienced engineers can develop both simple and complex connections to suit project requirements.
Design & Build
We pride ourselves on offering a design & build service for architectural and secondary steelwork required on projects. Our inhouse design managers have extensive experience working with complex client scopes, materials and finishes to provide specialist metalwork items. We can provide innovative design solutions for clients wanting an efficient and cost-effective one stop shop. Our engineers and designers look forward to working closely with you to develop a solution for your project’s requirements.
Fabrication Drawings
We produce fabrication drawings using the latest 3D modelling software’s to produce high quality drawing packages. We can output to all common digital formats for design team coordination and BIM integration for both structural and architectural metalwork.
Fabrication
We provide high quality structural and architectural metalwork fully accredited with UKCA marking. We can apply a range of finishes including certified intumescent paint systems and high quality architectural decorative coatings. We supply steelwork on a supply and installation basis or supply only.
Site Fabrication
Our site teams are well versed in completing site fabrication which is often associated with refurbishment. Services include but are not limited to coded site welding, cutting, burning and drilling.
Installation
At the outset of every project, we meticulously assess installation needs, specialising in complex requirements. Our collaboration with clients ensures solutions are developed and sequenced for timely, budget-conscious success. Shaca Steel’s experienced installation teams, proficient in both technical refurbishments and new builds, uphold the highest standards in health & safety, workmanship, and cooperation. Leveraging state-of-the-art equipment and advanced lifting techniques, we expertly handle metalwork installation in the most demanding scenarios.
Dismantlement & Demolition
To make way for new structures or alterations, steelwork is frequently required to be removed from an existing structure. This is a specialist task that can often involve temporary works and comprehensive planning to remove safely. We have vast experience in dismantlement which is typically followed by installation of new structural framework.
